Meet the farmers...
Over the next couple of weeks we will be introducing you to the farmers we are using for your food.
First of all: Eggs and Honey- Mostly available at Peace Park every Saturday and in your $30.00 boxes!
Eggs
:
our eggs are sources from a number of farmers, Howe ever we can always guarantee a great price, fresh, free range organic eggs. Michael Champion Organics (who also supplies our beautiful Mesculin Salad Mix) supplies our eggs for us.
Blue Mountains Honey
It comes for Oakdale from behind Warragamba Dam and is eucalypt variety part ironbark, part bloodwood . The honey is not heat treated, not blended and only filtered once so you may find small particles of wax, pollen and froth come to the top of the honey or lid . This all means that the natural goodness of the honey remains and that it is never over processed.Boxers - please email us about anything to do with your box - we want to make this work for you.
TIP: *********** Crack a couple open over a hot pan, and proceed to put anything that grabs your fancy in. This could include: fresh herbs, tomatoes, onions (Spanish or plain) and whatever else, cook all of this, make it into a scramble and toast some fresh bread. A wonderful accompanying to your Sunday morning.

Great Site
When I am not writing essays and reading books, I always cook food for my family. And the great recipes and tips that I get here really got me high praises, even from my grandmother who is an excellent chef for an Italian restaurant. Keep up the good work guys!
